Stat Line of the Night — 4/10/2013 — Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris
Stat Line of the Night — 4/11/2013 — Kevin Durant
With less than one week remaining in the NBA season, Kevin Durant currently finds himself in a battle with Carmelo Anthony for the league scoring title, while his Oklahoma City Thunder are in an equally tight battle for top spot in the Western Conference. And while Durant’s 31 points last night were five less than the 36 Melo put up during a loss to the Chicago Bulls, the OKC superstar also added 10 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block to help lead the Thunder to a 116-97 victory over the Golden State Warriors.
Following that performance, Durant sits 0.4 points back of Anthony for the NBA scoring lead, while his Thunder move 0.5 games up on the San Antonio Spurs for top spot in the West. Both of these races should come down to the wire, as we’ll likely have to wait until the end of the season to see where Durant and OKC finish in the scoring race and the standings, respectively. But for now, K.D. earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, April 11, 2013.
