rockies fan makes snowman in stands

Just about anyone who has ever spent a few days in Denver, Colorado, knows that they have some of the strangest weather patterns you’ll find anywhere. They’ll have a blizzard in October, but then it will be sunny and 55º on Christmas Day. They’ll have 75º weather in March, but in April they’ll get more snow.

Obviously this is the Rocky Mountains’ fault. I don’t know why they don’t just tear those things down.

In any case, you just never know what you’re going to get in the Mile High City, and the people who live there have grown accustomed to it and know how to make the best out of every meteorological situation. Case in point: this Colorado Rockies fan. He couldn’t get anyone to go to the game with him yesterday, seeing as how it was cold, snowy, and the first game of a double-header in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday—a makeup for Monday’s game that was postponed due to a blizzard. So he just made his own baseball buddy out of snow.

See for yourself:

The Rockies are celebrating their 20th anniversary this season. Obviously, they’ve built a very dedicated fan base over the last two decades.  And now they can add that snowman to their dedicated fan base.
