Watch This Brawl Between Giants Fans and Dodgers Fans at AT&T Park Last Saturday (Video)
This year, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ most heated on-field rivals might just be the San Diego Padres, given the way the Padres’ Carlos Quentin broke Zack Greinke’s collarbone and all. However, for Dodgers fans, there’s no question that the San Francisco Giants are still enemy number one. And despite that tragic beating outside Dodger Stadium in 2011 that left a Giants fan near death, the willingness to resort to violence doesn’t seem to have dissipated.
Case in point: Saturday night at AT&T Park.
A couple of Dodgers fans were sitting in the stands amidst a sea of Giants fans and, according to the guy who posted the video to YouTube, they “kept agitating [their] section.” That led to some unpleasant sunflower spittle, which was followed by some bottle-throwing, which then turned into an all-out brawl.
Take a look:
The guy holding the camera says he got jacked himself when he tried to hold one of the Dodgers fans back, though that, unfortunately, is not caught on camera. So I guess if you’re a Giants fan you’ll take his word for it, and if you’re a Dodgers fan you’ll say “bulls**t!”
In any case, it’s nice to see that it’s more than just Blue Jays fans misbehaving for a change.
