Stat Line of the Night — 5/14/2013 — Carlos Gonzalez
Stat Line of the Night — 5/15/2013 — Zach Randolph
The Memphis Grizzlies had the opportunity to close out their series with the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game Five last night. Doing so would earn them a spot in the NBA’s Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history, and that is exactly what they did.
Leading the way for the Grizzlies was Zach Randolph, who outscored and out-rebounded all players with 28 points and 14 rebounds on the evening. He would also add two assists and two steals, as the Grizzlies held on late for the series-clinching 88-84 victory.
With the win, the Grizzlies will now take on either the San Antonio Spurs or the Golden State Warriors. With the way they have been playing, you have to like their chances against either team, especially if Randolph is on his game. He was last night, and it earned him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, May 15, 2013.
