With Juventus and Napoli having already secured two of Italy’s three UEFA Champions League positions, AC Milan entered the final week of the Serie A season in complete control of their own destiny in their pursuit to capture the third, and final, UCL spot.  With Fiorentina also winning their final game of the season, the Rossoneri required a victory at Siena in order to ensure third place in Italy’s top football league.

In the end, they would get the job done, but it wasn’t easy.  Siena opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and they held that lead all the way until the 84th minute, when Mario Balotelli tied it on a penalty kick.  And Philippe Mexes put AC Milan ahead for good just three minutes later, as his goal off his own rebound completed the 2-1 come-from-behind victory.

It was quite the victory for the Rossoneri, but it wasn’t without its anxious moments—all 90-plus minutes of them.  Just ask AC Milan superfan, Tiziano Crudeli, who put his roller coaster of emotions on display for all to see during 7Gold‘s Serie A coverage on Sunday.

There aren’t many sports broadcasters and personalities who are more enjoyable to watch than the actual games themselves.  Jack Edwards may be one of them.  Tiziano Crudeli is certainly another.
