Despite Elimination, Classy Warriors Players Took Time to Thank Their Fans Last Night (Video)
“We Did It” Guy Takes Over After Spurs’ Overtime Victory (Video)
The San Antonio Spurs threw away a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter and needed overtime last night in Game Two of the Western Conference Finals series against the Memphis Grizzlies. But in the end, they “did it.” They got the job done in overtime and came away with the 93-89 victory, and a 2-0 series lead.
And in case you weren’t quite sure whether they had “done it” once the final buzzer sounded, one overzealous Spurs fan was there to hammer the point home, as he screamed, “WE DID IT,” emphatically into the ESPN microphone at the conclusion of the game.
Have a listen:
Probably a little too early for the “we did it” chant, but at least he didn’t go all Garnett on us with an “anything is possible” reference.
