Stat Line of the Night — 5/22/2013 — LeBron James
With the Indiana Pacers leading the Miami Heat by one point with just 2.2 seconds remaining in Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals, everyone in the world knew that the Heat were going to put the ball in LeBron James‘ hands—especially when you consider the fact that Dwyane Wade had just fouled out.
Do you think that stopped James from getting the job done? Not quite.
LeBron would go on to take the inbound pass at the top of the key and drive past Paul George for the easy game-winning lay-up. That would cap off his 30-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist night, and the Heat’s 103-102 victory, as well.
James would also add three blocks to his first triple-double performance of the 2013 NBA Playoffs, and in addition to earning the Game One victory, we’ll also give him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
