Stat Line of the Night — 5/27/2013 — Tony Parker
Most basketball experts were probably thinking that the aging San Antonio Spurs could use as much rest as possible before they take on either the Miami Heat or the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals. And plenty of rest is exactly what they’ll get, thanks in large part to Tony Parker‘s performance during Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals last night.
With the Spurs looking to complete the four-game sweep, Parker took over the reins, scoring a game-high 37 points on 15-of-21 shooting from the field. He would also add six assists and four rebounds to round out his impressive stat line during the Spurs’ 93-86 victory.
With the win, the Spurs book themselves a spot in the NBA Finals, where they will look to win the franchise’s fifth league title. As for Parker, he will be in search of his fourth NBA title, but for now he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, May 27, 2013.
