LeBron James certainly didn’t have his best game of the playoffs last night, as a couple of crucial mistakes by the reigning NBA MVP down the stretch nearly handed the game and the NBA Championship to the San Antonio Spurs.  But when it was all said and done, the Miami Heat were able to earn the Game 6 victory and force a deciding Game 7 on Thursday night, thanks in large part to LeBron’s league-leading third triple-double of the playoffs.

James did turn the ball over on six separate occasions, with at least a few of those taking place during the dying minutes of the fourth quarter, but he compensated for those errors with an impressive 32 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, three steals and one block, as the Heat escaped with the 103-100 overtime victory.

The win sets up what every basketball fan was probably hoping for: Game 7….On second thought, every basketball fan who isn’t also a fan of the Heat probably would have liked to see Miami lose, but LeBron didn’t allow that to happen, as he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
