Police Are Investigating Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez for Homicide (Video)
Well, it looks like New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez might have some legal trouble on the horizon. Police in Massachusetts haven’t named him as a suspect in the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found in an industrial area a mile from Hernandez’s home this week. However, they also very explicitly said that they have not eliminated him as a suspect, either.
On Sunday night, Odin Lloyd was with Hernandez and two other men at a, bar in downtown Boston. All four of those men left the bar together and got into Hernandez’s car. However, only three of them were in the car when they got back to Hernandez’s suburban home, and on Monday Lloyd’s well-dressed body was discovered.
So what the hell happened from the time the four men left the bar to the time three of them got to Hernandez’s house? That’s obviously what authorities are trying to figure out, and that is why they’ve searched Hernandez’s home.
Of course, nobody should jump to any conclusions here. Maybe Odin Lloyd got into an argument with the other men, got out of the car, and then was murdered at random by someone else. It’s unlikely—the cops seem to think this whole thing had something to do with drugs—but possible.
The only thing that is certain at this point is that Aaron Hernandez is in some hot water. Stay tuned.
