Dirtbiker vs. Angry Ram: Who Ya Got?
Whether you are on your dirt bike or pedaling away on a mountain bike, there are always a few things you’ll want to avoid while out on the trails. One of them is antelopes—for those riding in South Africa. The other is the deadly ram.
Now, characterizing a ram as “deadly” may seem like a bit of a stretch to some, but it’s not. In fact, wikiHow has even put together their step-by-step instructions for “how to defend against a ram,” claiming that their “horns, strength and mass can severely injure you or even cause death.”
The dirtbiker in the video below nearly found that lesson out the hard way while taking a ride along a path in the woods. Check it out:
Thankfully, he didn’t appear to be injured, but both he and his bike probably could have avoided that unnecessary encounter had they followed step one of wikiHow’s “how to defend against a ram”:
“Avoid getting charged by knowing that a ram is present and not getting anywhere near it in the first place.”
I bet he doesn’t break that rule the next time he takes his dirt bike out.
