Here’s a Video of a Pretty Typical Windmill Dunk…Performed by a 7th Grader (Video)

windmill dunk by 7th grader

Ah, the seventh grade. What a time, right? Getting dropped off at the mall by your mom on Friday nights. Kissing girls for the first time. Perfecting your windmill dunks.

Wait, what’s that? You didn’t do windmill dunks when you were in seventh grade? You could barely hit the rim from beyond the three-point arc?

Well then, I guess I* was a pretty exceptional seventh grader…just like the kid in the following video. His name is William Dillard, he’s 6’3″, a member of the class of 2018 (still kind of a long way off), and he can throw down a pretty ridiculous windmill dunk. This one, for example, was from the 2013 CP3 Rising Stars basketball camp in North Carolina.

Check it out:

Is this kid really in the seventh grade? Was he held back a year…or three? Did his parents really name him William Dillard?

The answer to all these questions and more is yes. I know so because I read it on the internet, which is almost never wrong. So remember the name: William Dillard.

*Full disclosure: I could not do a windmill dunk in the seventh grade…or ever.
