Creepy Dudes Videobomb Erin Andrews in Times Square Prior to Sunday Night Football (Video)
The problem with an attractive female sideline reporter like Erin Andrews, who is almost as famous as the athletes she covers, is that she attracts unwanted attention. It’s not her fault, mind you. I don’t want to sound like I’m somehow blaming her for being knowledgeable about sports, a good interviewer, and hot. It’s just a pitfall of her chosen profession.
This was true back when some pervert filmed her through a peephole in a hotel room wall back in 2008. It was true back in February when 50 Cent surprised her with a smooch after the Daytona 500. And it was true yesterday when she was getting videobombed by a couple of weird-looking dudes in Times Square.
Of course, the internet being the way it is, the dudes who videobombed Andrews yesterday already have an official name, courtesy of the folks over at Deadspin: Beardo and Dreds.
The inspiration for that name? Well, it’s pretty obvious. Just take a look:
I don’t know about you, but that’s exactly how I like my videobombers—creepy as hell.
So who are these guys? I have no idea. However, thanks to the geniuses over at Awful Announcing, I do know that they decided to capitalize on their 15 seconds of viral internet fame by making an encore videobombing appearance on the Today show this morning.
Well done, you creepy bastards. Well done.
