Here’s Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s $40-Million Check (Photo)
I’m going to go ahead and assume that you have never seen a $40-million check before in your life. Heck, most of us haven’t…until now.
Unfortunately, the $40-million check you are about to see does not belong to you. Rather, it belongs to Floyd Mayweather Jr., as that is the amount of money he agreed to receive in return for beating the crap out of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez during his split decision (due to one judge’s inexplicable scoring) victory in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Now comes the toughest part for Mayweather—figuring out what to do with all of that money.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, yes, this is a record payout, breaking the $32-million mark that Mayweather set during his fight against Miguel Cotto last year (and equaled during his fight against Roberto Guerrero earlier this year).
