4’9″ Running Back Jayson Carter Gets First Carry at Rice-UTEP Game (Video)

Jayson Carter

Jayson Carter, running back at Rice University, has what they call in the business, “a low center of gravity.” In fact, his is lower than most, since he only stands 4 feet and 9 inches tall, and weighs just 135 pounds.

Over the weekend, Carter got to do something he’s been waiting to do for the past three years: actually play in a game.  It was against UTEP, and the result was Carter’s first ever carry, which went for just one yard.  But the crowd goes wild anyway, kind of like they did at Notre Dame for Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger.

You can check out the video of Jayson Carter’s first carry at Rice University below. Don’t worry if you don’t have much time—it’s really short.  Get it?
