Stat Line of the Night — 10/31/2013 — Chris Paul
After enduring a loss to the Lakers in their home-opener on Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Clippers were looking to get into the win column for the first time this season on Thursday when they hosted the Golden State Warriors. And they would do just that, thanks to an impressive offensive performance from Chris Paul.
While the all-star guard is usually doing all of the passing, on this occasion he was doing a majority of the scoring as well, as he racked up 42 points to go along with 15 assists. And he was contributing on the defensive end as well, adding six steals and two rebounds during the Clippers’ 126-115 victory.
It’s still early but Lob City appears to be back on track after a rough opening night. In order to stay on that track, they’ll need more of this type of play from Chris Paul, who earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, October 31, 2013.
