Olivet Eagles Football Team Stage Play for Special Needs Teammate (Video)

Special Needs Football Play

The stereotype about middle school football players, if there is one, is probably that they can be cruel bullies to the less popular kids in their class. But here’s a video from Olivet, Michigan, that should do a lot to challenge that image.

Among the members of the Olivet Eagles football team is Keith Orr, a young man with learning and behavioral difficulties. The other kids on the team came up with a special play that would allow him to score, and they successfully pulled off that play during a recent game, much to the delight of everyone involved.
