Despite Vicious Elbow to the Face, Syracuse’s C.J. Fair Finishes Monster Dunk (Video)

The past couple of seasons, certain NBA players have been making a farce out of the great game of basketball by flopping to draw fouls. The league has tried to combat this trend by levying fines to the people who do it. But they don’t enforce the policy as strictly as they could and perhaps should, and as a result, the flopping continues.

Fortunately, flopping isn’t as prevalent in college hoops yet. Or at least, I don’t think it is.

It’s certainly not prevalent in the game of Syracuse senior C.J. Fair. If it was, he probably would have gone limp and fallen to the ground when Minnesota’s Austin Hollins elbowed him in the face while he was going up for a dunk last night. Instead, Fair just kept on going and finished the monster jam. Then, only afterward, did he let on that anything was wrong.

Take a look:

Somehow, the referees missed this one. I guess they just figured Fair is prone to spontaneous bleeding.

In any case, way to be a badass, C.J. Fair. We salute you.
