Stat Line of the Night — 12/4/2013 — LaMarcus Aldridge
Last night basketball fans were treated to a possible preview of the Western Conference Finals when the Portland Trail Blazers hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder. It turned out to be a tight battle between these two powerhouses from out west, but in the end it was the Blazers who would emerge victorious thanks to the stellar play of LaMarcus Aldridge.
The Blazers’ power forward dominated in the paint all evening, scoring 38 points on 17-of-28 shooting while also grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out five assists during his team’s 111-104 victory.
With the win, Portland now takes over sole possession of top spot in the Western Conference. Aldridge has been a key part to their success this season and now he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
