Stat Line of the Night — 12/4/2013 — LaMarcus Aldridge
Stat Line of the Night — 12/5/2013 — Taylor Hall
We’re less than halfway through the 2013-14 NHL season and it already appears as though the Edmonton Oilers are on the verge of another losing campaign. But if there was ever a moment that could turn things around for this young group of hockey players, it may have taken place last night at Rexall Place.
Playing against the Colorado Avalanche, the Oilers’ offense exploded, led by none other than Taylor Hall. The 2010 first-overall draft pick opened the scoring with the first two goals of the game, and he would add another goals and an assist to cap off his hat-trick/four point performance during his team’s 8-2 victory over the Avs.
After last night’s game, Hall now has 10 goals and 24 points in 23 games this season, and he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, December 5, 2013.
