The 2013 college football regular season may not be officially in the books until Navy destroys Army this weekend in Annapolis. However, the bowl invitations have already been handed out, and you could probably count the number of people who are genuinely excited to watch that game on one hand. So, for all intents and purposes, the season is cooked.
What does that mean? Well, for starters, it means we now have to wait two and a half long weeks for any good college football. (Sorry, we’re not too pumped up to watch East Carolina play Ohio in the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl.) However, on the bright side, it also means stepping back and taking stock of everything we’ve seen on the collegiate gridiron this year. And that, in turn, means a list of awesome college football GIFs.

Right off the bat, the San Jose State Spartans prove you don't have to be a powerhouse program in a powerhouse conference to pull off a jaw-dropping play.
35. San Jose State Hurdler
Then again, the guys in the big leagues can do that sort of thing too. Here is MU's Devin Funchess leaping like a freaking gazelle.
34. Michigan Hurdler
Of course, the greatest hurdler of the year is Kent State's Nate Terhune. While he wasn't quite as majestic as Michigan's Funchess, you have to keep in mind that this guy is a 6'4" 265-pound DEFENSIVE LINEMAN.
This guy is my hero.
33. Fat Guy Hurdler
Nebraska had the same overall record as Minnesota this year. That probably hurt more than this brutal sack.
Iowa's Mark Weisman was not going to be tackled by anybody.
31. Persistence Pays
Just in case you were wondering why Northern Illinois's Jordan Lynch was one of the four quarterbacks named as 2013 Heisman finalists...this is why.
30. Jordan Lynch Is a Beast
FYI, Jameis Winston is not the only playmaker on the FSU roster.
29. Nick O'Leary's Reverse Tackle
This is newly minted NCAA Division I FCS Abeline Christian University coming up just three yards short of a miraculous game-winning touchdown against the New Mexico State Aggies.
