Stat Line of the Night – 12/16/2013 – Justin Tucker
Stat Line of the Night – 12/17/2013 – Damian Lillard
Last night’s game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Portland Trail Blazers featured a battle between two of the NBA’s best young point guards in Kyrie Irving and Damiam Lillard. And in the end, it was the latter who would come out on top thanks to some late heroics.
After hitting the game-winning shot one game earlier, Lillard was at it again, this time draining a three-pointer with less than a second remaining to give Portland the 119-116 victory. Those three points would give him a game-high 36 points for the contest to go along with 10 assists, eight rebounds, and one block. It was an impressive performance from start to finish for the sophomore guard, as he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
