The World’s First BMX Superman Double Backflip Will Blow Your Mind (Video)
I’m not a BMX expert. In fact, I know pretty much nothing about the sport, other than the fact that the people who do it are insane. However, just because you don’t know anything about a sport, that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate it. And today, I sure as hell am appreciating the world’s first ever Superman double back flip.
What is a Superman back flip, you ask? Well, it’s a backflip performed on a bike in which the rider lets his feet come off his pedals and fully extends his body in the air—like Superman—before sitting back down in time to land.
So what is a Superman double back flip? Obviously, it’s when you flip not once, but twice, which is ridiculous. And yet pro BMX rider Ethen Godfrey-Roberts pulled it off on a recent stop of the Nitro Circus Tour.
Take a look:
Seriously, how is that even possible?
