With Russell Westbrook out of the line-up, Kevin Durant has been forced to pick up much of the slack on offense.  The result was seven straight games with at least 30 points heading into last night, and he would keep that streak going at the expense of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Durant was feeling it at the offensive end once again, as he drained 17 of his 25 field-goal attempts for a game-high 46 points.  He also added five rebounds and four assists to his totals, as the Thunder came away with the 105-97 victory.

In addition to eight straight games with at least 30 points, Durant has also recorded 40 or more points in four of his 11 games this month.

His latest 40+ point performance earns him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
