According to Bob Uecker, “Major League IV” Is Probably Going to Happen
Those who have been waiting for another Major League movie to come out following the disappointment of Major League: Back to the Minors will be happy to hear the following news from Bob Uecker regarding the possibility of a Major League IV movie, via Brewers Beat:
“I’ll be honest with you, they’re talking about it,” Uecker said. “The story line is all set, too. They’ve already asked me if I would be in for ‘Major League IV,’ and I told them I would. I’ve talked to the directors. They’re talking about it and they’re pretty serious, but that’s all I can tell you, really. If there was more, I would tell you that, too. They have been talking about it for the last year-plus. As a matter of fact, they called me during the season last year and asked me if I would be in.”
So there you have it. Major League IV appears to be in the works, and while there’s no telling whether or not we’ll get to see Charlie Sheen back as Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn, we do know for certain that Bob Uecker will be making an appearance as Harry Doyle.
