Bode Miller cries during NBC interview

Less than one year after losing his brother, Chelone, to a suspected seizure caused by previous brain injuries, Bode Miller made the trip to Sochi to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics.  And on Sunday, he won his first medal of the 2014 Games when he and Canadian Jan Hudec tied for bronze in the men’s Super-G.

It was the sixth Olympic medal of Miller’s career, but even the American skier admitted during an interview with NBC’s Christin Cooper that this one was a little different because of his brother’s passing.

That admission led to more questions from Cooper regarding Chelone, resulting in Miller’s eventual on-camera emotional breakdown.
