Will Ferrell Crashes Peter Carroll Speech at USC, Kicks a Field Goal (Video)
Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was at USC yesterday to talk about his fond memories of coaching the Trojans, the virtues of new head coach Steve Sarkisian, and, obviously, his recent Super Bowl championship. So of course Will Ferrell randomly showed up and kicked a field goal.
Oh, and did I mention Carroll’s speaking engagement was not outside, but in an indoor auditorium? Because it was. Somebody in the front row hiked a football to Carroll up on stage, who held the ball—laces out—and Ferrell kicked a field goal.
Of course, this should hardly come as a surprise, since Carroll and Ferrell (USC Class of ’90) are buddies, and Ferrell tends to show up at all sorts of USC events. Hell, last time he was dressed as Tommy Trojan and conducting the marching band. And you knew he was going to have to do something to top that.
Take a look:
After that, Carroll went on to give everybody a load of crap about his coaching philosophy or something. But really, who cares?
