Golfer Steve Elkington Makes Gay Joke About Michael Sam on Twitter
Watch Paula Creamer Win the HSBC Women’s Championship with Miracle 75-Foot Eagle Putt (Video)
Let’s be completely honest here. If we’re talking about golf in early March, with the NCAA tournament right around the corner and the NBA and NHL seasons really heating up, you know it’s got to be good.
Well, this is. On Sunday, Paula Creamer won the HSBC Women’s Championship in a playoff against Azahara Munoz, and she did it by sinking an absolutely insane 75-foot putt for Eagle on the par-four 18th.
But wait, it gets better. You see, Creamer hadn’t won a tournament since the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open. So that wasn’t just a 75-foot miracle putt. It was a 75-foot slump buster.
Take a look:
Something tells me Paula Creamer’s Twitter feed pretty much blew up after that, and rightly so. That was one of the most amazing championship shots anybody has seen in a long time.
Talk about getting the monkey off your back.
