John Elway Says NFL Free Agency Is Like Dating
Brandon Weeden’s Tribute Video is Sad (Video)
Less than two years after using the 22nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Entry Draft to select a 28-year-old quarterback by the name of Brandon Weeden, the Cleveland Browns were forced to cut ties with the former first-rounder.
Weeden’s two years with the Browns couldn’t have been more disappointing, as he managed to pass for just 23 touchdowns, while throwing 26 interceptions and fumbling 12 times in 23 career games. He finished his tenure in Cleveland with an ugly 71.8 passer rating, and an even uglier 26.2 total quarterback rating.
Those horrifying numbers are just one way to sum up Weeden’s time as a member of the Cleveland Browns. Below, you’ll find another.
It’s a tribute video to Weeden, and in all honesty, it’s just about the saddest tribute video I’ve ever seen. Check it out:
This probably won’t help Weeden find work during his upcoming job search.
