Thanks to Nike Soccer, the United States Men’s National Soccer Team will be heading to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in style. And by “in style,” I mean that they kind of look like they’re wearing the French flag—France is stylish, right?
The red, white, and blue color scheme of the new Nike United States National Soccer Team Away uniforms is just one new aspect of the duds being touted by Nike. There are also the shorts, which are supposed to be “slimmer and more tailored to the body, with a cut specifically designed to aid movement and comfort.” Then there are the Nike laser vents, designed to “aid in cooling and allow for moisture management.”
Hey, moisture management! Alright!
But enough about laser vents and moisture management, the really important thing from our perspective as viewers is how the Team USA away uniforms look, right?
You can get a pretty good idea of how they look (modeled by a variety of athletes and famous fans) by checking out the photos in the gallery up top, courtesy of Nike. And the FIFA World Cup kicks off on June 12th, 2014—but the USMNT don’t hit the pitch until their June 16 match-up against Ghana.
