Now we all get to see what an ankle-breaker looks like in hockey after Tomas Plekanec treated us to one—at the expense of Lightning defenceman Radko Gudas—during the Montreal Canadiens’ playoff opener against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday.

That beauty was the Habs’ first goal of the 2014 NHL Playoffs, and they would score four more to secure a 5-4 overtime victory over the Lightning in Game One of this Eastern Conference Quarterfinal battle.
