Soccer Ghost

Do you believe in ghosts? You may, after watching this mysterious video.  Or you may not, because it’s unlikely if a ghost did exist, it would visit the stands of a soccer match between Bolivian and Uruguayan club teams. I think they would at least go Premier League, if not UEFA Champions League or World Cup.

Nonetheless, it’s a little hard to explain what the hell is going on in the stands during this match. The below clip circles a shapeless black blob as it sprints through the crowd for no particular reason.

See for yourself—ghost or fast dude dressed in a matte trash bag?:

“Ghost” may not be the simplest explanation, but it’s probably the most fun. Maybe he was trying to make it to the beer line before last call? I’ve seen people move faster than that to get one more Budweiser in before the cutoff.

So, in summary, a black ghost haunted the spectators at a Copa Libertadores game. To add to the creepiness factor, the act occurred in the 90th minute of the match, which is pretty much the midnight, or witching hour, of soccer.

If this is just the beginning of a bigger epidemic, than the Brazil World Cup is going to look like the finale of “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
