Two Fans Hop Over Outfield Fence During Dodgers Game, One Actually Escapes (Videos)

dodgers fans run onto field over wall escape

You always assume that the people who run onto the field at baseball games are either stupid, wasted, or both. Why else would they risk going to jail or losing their jobs—assuming they have jobs—for a 30-second thrill?

That being said, you have to hand it to the two guys who ran onto the field at Dodger Stadium last night. They ran out onto the field at the same time, employing a divide and conquer strategy that diluted security forces and gave them both a 50% chance of escaping.

Of course, only one of them did escape—he hopped back over the outfield fence—although we don’t know for how long. But hey, that’s better than just about everyone else who’s ever done it…except that one guy in Houston. He was amazing.

See for yourself:

I hope these guys aren’t very fond of Dodger Stadium, because now they can never go back.
