Canaan Sandy Scores Touchdown

Arkansas Razorbacks superfan Canaan Sandy was nominated for an ESPN Fan Hall of Fame induction last year by his mother, which he clinched with over 100,000 online votes. But at the recent Arkansas spring game, Sandy managed an even greater achievement, by scoring a touchdown on the field with his favorite team.

It happened just after halftime, with Sandy suspecting that something big was coming but not knowing exactly what.  Then, when he got his chance, he ran the ball about 50 yards untouched, all the way to the end zone. And after that, he luxuriated in the crowd’s enthusiastic response with an awesome display of showmanship.

You can see video of Canaan Sandy, Arkansas Razorbacks fan of the century, scoring a touchdown with his favorite team below. Oh, and by the way, what did you do over the weekend?
