Fight Breaks Out in Crowd at Bulls-Wizards Game 5 (Video)
Tensions were running high during Game 5 of the NBA Playoff series between the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards last night, and I don’t mean on the court. Towards the end of the game, a pretty sizable fight broke out in the stands, just behind the Bulls’ bench.
What caused the fight to start is unclear, but whatever it was resulted in a series of escalations that eventually led to the fight actually getting big enough to interrupt the game.
As you can see from the third video below, a couple of players on the court were driven to the point of distraction by the fight, and it (briefly) ended up on the TNT broadcast of the game. Almost certainly contributing to the mood at the United Center was the Bulls’ lackluster gameplay, eventually losing to the Wizards, 75-69, resulting in their elimination from the post-season following a 4-1 series defeat.
As you might imagine, though, the best videos of the fight were taken from the stands, rather than from the TNT broadcast. That’s including my favorite video below:

And here’s how it looked during the TNT’s broadcast of the game:
