Carlos Gomez Robs Joey Votto of Home Run…Again (Videos)
Last July, Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez gave us one of the most exciting endings to a baseball game we saw all season. With the Brewers up 4-3 and trying to close out the Reds in the top of the 9th, Joey Votto came to the plate with a runner on first and two outs and hit a blast to center field. However, just when it looked like the Reds were about to take the lead, Gomez leapt over the wall and robbed Votto of the home run.
So why do I bring this up now, 10 months later? Because last night Carlos Gomez robbed Votto of another home run.

As you can see from Votto’s reaction, he was well aware that this was the second time Gomez had robbed him of a home run.
Of course, Votto won’t get any sympathy form Washington’s Michael Morse. If you recall, in spring training Oakland’s Josh Reddick robbed him of a home run twice in the same game.
