President Obama Does His Best Richard Sherman Impression (Video)

President Obama Richard Sherman

Saturday night was the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which gave President Obama and some famous cohorts the chance to cut lose and deliver jokes in front of a mostly gracious audience. One of the members of that audience this year was the great Richard Sherman, he of the Seattle Seahawks and the “best cornerback in the game.”

One of the highlights of Saturday night’s festivities happened when Obama acknowledged Sherman’s presence during his monologue in the best possible way—by doing a brief impression of Sherman’s now famous post-game interview.

Of course, Obama had to maintain his presidential demeanor even during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, so this was more of an interpretation than a vocal imitation.  We probably have to wait until Obama’s term is up to see him go Full Sherman.
