Johnny Manziel Parties with Drake After Round 1 of 2014 NFL Draft (Pics)
As you may know, former Texas A&M Aggie and current Cleveland Brown (insert sad tuba music here) Johnny Manziel is BFFs with Drake.
The friendship happened pretty naturally, really. Drake is a sports nut who loves hanging out with elite athletes. Manziel liked Drake’s music. They got together, Manziel became a member of Drake’s crew (the “Topszn Regime,” or just “The Regime” for short), and from there they initiated a kind of personal brand synergy. Manziel started flashing the Topszn Regime’s hand gestures on the field, Drake wrote him a song. It’s a mutually beneficial business partnerships and/or friendship.
It should come as no surprise, therefore, that Johnny Football hit the New York club scene after the first round of the NFL draft last night with Drake.
Here they are with Drake’s manager (and cousin), OVO Ryan (real name Ryan Silverstein, which is not as cool):
Johnny brought along some of his NFL draft buddies, too. Here he is with Drake and Odell Beckham, formerly of LSU, currently of the New York Giants via the 12th overall pick:
And last but not least, here’s Johnny and Odell with Johnny’s former A&M teammate Mike Evans, who went to the Bucs at #7:
Of course, Beckham is just holding that bottle of champagne for somebody else. Being just 20 years old, there’s no way he would be drinking it.
