NCAA Allows Boise State To Grant Financial Assistance To A Homeless Committed Recruit
Surveillance Footage Of Jameis Winston Shoplifting Crab Legs (Video)
If you’re a “glass is half full” type of person, the shoplifting charges against Florida State quarterback and Heisman winner Jameis Winston could be construed as a good thing. I mean, at least each new criminal charge against him seems to be decreasing in terms of severity. Maybe in August he’ll get a jaywalking ticket, then he’ll be a law-abiding citizen for the rest of his life.
Or, perhaps he just falls plum in the Venn diagram overlap of “people who love shellfish” and “people who love free things,” and no more should be read into it.
In any event, a few weeks ago, Jameis Winston faced shoplifting charges and sanctions from the FSU baseball team after he was caught trying to steal some crab legs from a Tallahassee Publix grocery store. In case you were wondering what the spoils of his crime were, the crab legs would have reportedly cost $32.72.
Is that a good price for the amount of crab he stole?
Take a look at the video and judge for yourself:
Jameis Winston chalked it up to “youthful ignorance,” which is a nice spin on “I have no excuse and am just sort of a jerk.”
Head coach Jimbo Fisher said that the football team won’t discipline him because, duh, you don’t go through life with a name like Jimbo without stealing your fair share of seafood as well.
