David Booth Tries Slacklining, Fails Hilariously (Video)

What is slacklining, you ask? It’s like tightrope walking, except you use an industrial strength nylon strap instead of a rope, and it’s not tight. Hence the world slack right there in the title.

In any case, slacklining is a thing people do now. It’s a great way to improve your balance, lateral stability, and core strength. And apparently it’s sometimes fun if you don’t suck. So when you think about it, slacklining would make a pretty good offseason workout for, say, hockey players.

That brings us to David Booth. The Vancouver Canucks forward is apparently into slacklining when he’s not out hunting wild beasts. However, judging by this Instagram video he posted this week, he hasn’t mastered the activity just yet.

Now he may never have children.

Take a look:

Looks like fun. Where do I sign up?
