The Miami Heat’s Ray Allen is generally regarded as one of the greatest shooters in the history of the game. What he is not known for are his dunks. In fact, over the last three years, the 38-year-old has dunked all of 12 times. And that includes the playoffs.

To put that into perspective, here’s what other shooting guards have done this postseason alone:

Andre Iguodala: 12 dunks
Lance Stephenson: 9 dunks
Dwyane Wade: 9 dunks
DeMar DeRozan: 5 dunks
Bradley Beal: 4 dunks

So you get the idea. Ray Allen is old, and he doesn’t dunk anymore…which is exactly why everyone was so shocked last night when, instead of passing the ball to LeBron, he took it to the rim all by himself.

Check it out:

The Heat may have lost the game, and LeBron may have been owned by Gatorade, but hey, at least Ray Allen dunked the basketball. That’s…something.
