Critics can point to Michael Jordan‘s twilight playing days with the Wizards as evidence that the legend didn’t have the skills he once did, and there’s something to be said for that. But even at 51 years old, his Airness still has a little something left in the tank. And by “a little something left in the tank,” I mean that he remains better at basketball than you or anyone you’ll ever have known.
While it’s not exactly world-class competition, he was able to put on a show for attendees at a basketball camp, knocking down 11 shots in a row. Calm, cool, and collected.
He then challenged the 11-year old boy in the picture to a friendly game of 1-on-1 and beat him 73-3, playing by ones. The matchup lasted 110 minutes.
Those last two sentences were a lie. But he did put on a show. Here’s the video:
