Cleveland Indians Kill Time During Rain Delay Using Tarp as a Slip’N Slide (Video)
Things are going well in Cleveland. They’ve got LeBron and Kevin Love, Johnny Manziel seems to be steering clear of social media, and the Indians are only five games out of the division lead, despite being at .500.
So naturally, the universe needs to restore order, and injuring half the Indians squad while they turn a rain delay tarp into a Slip’N Slide would have done just that.
Fortunately for all involved, no one was injured. According to Jason Kipnis, the three players who took to the tarp first (Mike Aviles, Kipnis, and Lonnie Chisenhall) weighed the options, deciding that the risk was worth the reward. That’s a very easy thing to say when you have the benefit of hindsight.
