Derek Jeter Accepts ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Passes It on to His Bikini Model Girlfriend Hannah Davis (Video)
Retiring Yankees legend Derek Jeter took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge yesterday in the clubhouse at Yankee Stadium. If you ask a devout Yankees fan, they’ll probably tell you it was the greatest, classiest, and most clutch ice bucket challenge of all time. However, in reality it was pretty run of the mill.
That being said, there are two details that do bear mentioning. First is the fact that Jeter made sure to mention Pete Frates, the Boston College baseball player with ALS who started the Ice Bucket Challenge movement, and Lou Gehrig, the guy for whom ALS (a.k.a. Lou Gehrig’s Disease) is named. Because Jeter is classy like that.
Second is the fact that Jeter challenges his crazy hot supermodel girlfriend, Hannah Davis, to take the challenge. Because Jeter knows what the people want.
