Yasiel Puig Got Mo’ne Davis’s Autograph After She Threw Out the First Pitch at Dodger Stadium (Video + Pic)
Remember last month, when 13-year-old pitcher Mo’ne Davis became the first girl to throw a shutout at the Little League World Series and the first Little League World Series player to make the cover of Sports Illustrated? Well, on Tuesday night her surreal journey to the pinnacle of the baseball world continued in Los Angeles, where the Dodgers brought her to Dodger Stadium to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Given that she’s only 13 years old and from Philadelphia, Mo’ne probably didn’t quite appreciate the significance of having the legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully call that first pitch. But one day she’ll probably look back and cherish the moment forever.
Right now? Right now Mo’ne is probably a lot more excited about the fact that Cuban superstar Yasiel Puig asked for her autograph.

And I certainly don’t blame her. That’s pretty awesome, too.
