Exchange Your Ray Rice Jersey for Any Another Raven’s Jersey
Football season is back! Which means we get to continue reporting terrible player behavior, and the fallout resulting from it! Just like we do in the offseason! This time, we bring news that select fans who made the mistake of purchasing a Ray Rice jersey will be allowed to swap them out at stadium stores for that of another Ravens player who has possibly committed less violent crimes.
Ray Rice, having sparked much discussion and controversy following his suspension for a videotaped instance of domestic abuse, is now a man without a team (and any supporters) after a second video came to light of him punching another woman. The video is a couple years old, and now stories are flying around that the NFL may have known about the tape, which is a whole ‘nother bag of worms.
Anyway, back to the Ray Rice jerseys. This isn’t the first time a team has adopted such a policy. The Patriots allowed certain fans to swap out Aaron Hernandez jerseys after it was alleged that he killed 50% of the population of New England. And I continue to sit here with Sebastian Janikowski jersey. Hoping. Waiting.
