Just Watching this Bone-Crushing Rugby Hit Will Put Hair on Your Chest (Video)
I’m not sure if you’re on the market for more chest hair, but if you are you’ve basically got three options: down a shot of Appalachian moonshine, walk across a bed of hot coals, or watch this bone-crushing rugby hit.
If I were you I’d go with the bone-crushing rugby hit. I mean, you’re already here, plus moonshine is just awful and hot coals are a pretty serious fire hazard.
The hit comes to us from the Aviva Premiership, England’s top rugby league. Like the NFL, they too kicked off their 2014 season this past weekend, and this hit rather poetically sums up the match between Northampton and Gloucester: Northampton absolutely destroyed Gloucester, 53-6, just as Northampton’s Samu Manoa absolutely destroyed Gloucester’s Billy Twelvetrees.
And in case you were wondering, Manoa, who is American, stands 6’7″ tall and weighs in at 269 pounds. Meanwhile, poor Billy Twelvetrees, who is English, is listed at a mere 6’4″ and 220 pounds. So Manoa had a noticeable advantage.
Take a look:
Like I said…bone-crushing rugby hit.
I love American football, but when it comes to art of hitting, rugby players are second to none. Take away the padding and guys have no choice but to learn proper mechanics.
