Rihanna, apparently not up on the world of NFL current events, was more than a little miffed that CBS had pulled her musical intro for last Thursday night’s game. In case you’re as oblivious as RiRi might be, allows us to fill you in. Over the past two weeks, the NFL has had a bit of a crisis with their handling of Ray Rice‘s videotaped incident of domestic abuse.

Rihanna is a known victim of domestic abuse at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown. CBS saw the obvious connection and rightfully thought to pull the video at the 11th hour. Now they want to use the video this week, after things have cooled down a smidge.

Rihanna isn’t on board. Here’s her Tweets:

I like the second one. As is to say, “I’m not angry, I’m just very disappointed, CBS.” This coming on the heels of “NO, Fuck you!”

No word on whether CBS has the right to re-air the piece and Rihanna is just throwing a fit, or if she has some say in the matter. In any event…GOOD TIMES IN THE NFL!
