Ryan Fitzpatrick Shows Off His Ridiculously Smart Kid After Best Game of His Career (Video)
Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had the best game of his career on Sunday against the Titans.
He lit up the team that used to play in Houston—and the team for which he played last season—for six touchdowns and 358 yards with zero interceptions and a passer rating of 147.5. And while wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was Fitpatrick’s main target (to the tune of 238 yards), he also found J.J. Watt for a one-yard score, making Watt the first defensive end to score five touchdowns in a season since 1944.
So did Fitzpatrick boast at his post-game press conference? Yeah, a little bit…but not about his quaterbacking abilities. After remaining humble in that regard, Fitzpatrick called his brilliant young son up to the podium and had him show off his amazing math skills.
Take a look:
That is pretty f–king impressive, but hardly surprising. Fitzpatrick himself is widely regarded as one of the smartest athletes in pro sports. The guy scored a 1580 on the SATs (back when 1600 was a perfect score) and graduated from Harvard with a degree in economics.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
