Check Out the Crazy Bounce on This Dwight King Goal (Video)
Hockey, like most sports, is all about the bounces sometimes. For a perfect example of that, look no further than this Dwight King goal from last night’s game between the St. Louis Blues and the Los Angeles Kings.
With the Kings clinging to a 5-4 lead midway through the third period (after erasing a 3-0 deficit), King scooped up the puck in the neutral zone following a Blues turnover and flipped it on the St. Louis goal. It should have been an easy save for Blues goalie Martin Brodeur, had it not taken a ridiculous bounce off the ice, over the shoulder of the surprised keeper, and into the top corner of the net.
